Disney has introduced a new way of buying tickets as of 2 January 2005. This
replaces the old system of Park Hopper and Park Hopper Plus tickets, which will
no longer be available after that date.
You choose the number of days you wish to visit a Disney theme park (3, 4, 5,
6, 7 or 10 days are available) and then start with a Base Ticket for that number of
days. All Base Tickets expire 14 days after the day of first use and do not
include park hopping privileges (i.e. the ability to visit more than one Disney
theme park in any given day).
You can add the following options to your Base Ticket:
- Park hopping i.e. the ability to visit more than one Disney theme park in any given day.
- Plus option - this allows you to have a specified number of visits to any of Pleasure Island, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Wide World Of Sports Complex or Disney Quest. The number of visits depends on the number of days on your Base Ticket.
- Expiration - you can add an option to your ticket so that unused days never expire.
