Cinderella's Royal Table
If you have Princesses in your family, this has to be one of the most magicaldining experiences we have been to. Having now tried a few of the character meals, this for our family was thebest, as our girls love the princesses. However, have to say that all the mealshave been a hit each time so well worth doing – see my other reviews of AnimalKingdom’s breakfast and Crystal Palace Dinner. This definitely has to be booked in advance as it is so popular; there isanother Princess Storybook breakfast now over in Epcot as the demand is sogreat. You can book priority seating 90 days in advance. You can ring howeverto see if there are any cancellations each day – start ringing at 7am! And againat 8am in case anyone has since called to cancel. The food, ambiance, and characters were just unbelievable and our girl’sfaces simply lit up. You are seated and you are overlooking Fantasyland andsuddenly Cinderella comes along to say hello! Characters can change but it is usually Cinderella, Snow White, PrincessAurora, Belle, and Mary Poppins, sometimes you may meet Jasmine. Fairy Godmothervery often greets guests at the entrance. Prince Charming sometimes pops in andit is not unusual for him to dance with a few ladies! Never be afraid to “takecharge” of a character – they will interact well with you if you make thatlittle extra effort. Cinderella sat with our 5year old and coloured in somebooks we had taken with us (as if they needed any further entertaining!) Don’t forget your camera’s, the princesses will pose with as many of yourparty as you want and also have the autograph books open – if you give them yourname they will write it in and Snow White kept calling my daughter by her namethen and she thought that was fantastic! The food is pre-plated (i.e. not buffet style) and is delicious, typical menuitems are Fresh Fruit, Breakfast Breads, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Frenchtoast, Potato Casserole. To see all the characters takes about an hour – and ifyou do find a princess misses your table by accident, let one of the CastMembers know, they will find them and bring them to your table. Disney isalways so eager to please and nothing ever seems too much trouble. The breakfast runs from 8am-10.30am, prices $10 forchildren and $20 for adults. Page added on: 21 July 2004
