T J Maxx If You Like BargainsThere are three TJ Maxx stores that we visit whilst in Orlando. They are as follows. International Drive Value Center 5476 Touchstone Drive Orlando. Clermont Landing 2335 South Hwy 27 Clermont 7649 West Colonial Drive Orlando Of the three you will find the one at Clermont the quietest and it is a lovely drive on highway 27 to it. The one on International Drive can get very busy and you often seem to have to wait for ages behind customers with trolleys rammed with bargains. We usually “park” Grandad in a nearby coffee shop whilst we shop! All stores usually open approx 11. 00am to 8. 00pm on Sundays and 9. 30am to 9. 30pm the other days. As we have a villa in Orlando their selection of household items is usually our first priority as we can get lovely quality items for the villa as well as items to take back to the UK. Bed Linen (including Bed in a Bag) we buy for both homes as we do cutlery (they usually have a great selection of steak knives) and crockery. My Father was not well pleased when on their last holiday he was asked to bring a very delicate flower arrangement back to the UK but he managed to do so with it completely intact! If like my Mother you cannot resist towels you will find them here in every size and colour. As with TK Maxx in the UK you will find a great selection of Handbags. Unfortunately the women in our family (including the younger teenagers) do not seem to ever have enough handbags so we always stock up on them in Florida. My Mother usually goes for Nine West which is a fraction of the price in the US, and Liz Claiborne whilst I favour Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger and the girls are currently into Baby Phat. My Mother only ever buys her handbags and shoes in the US these days and there is plenty of the latter to choose from. As well as makes more unknown to us you can always find DKNY and Ralph Lauren. For those who want trainers there are a lot of brand names also. When it comes to clothes there are rails upon rails of mens, womens and childrens very similar to the UK but of course much cheaper. If you need sunglasses rather than going to some of the smaller shops advertising discount brands my Father always gets his here and thinks they have a better selection and cheaper prices. My mother always finishes her visit (whilst I am having a last run around the rails of women’s clothes) in the toiletry section. You can get one off items of bubble bath, soaps, smelly candles and perfumes. Do try and visit TJ Maxx if you go to Orlando but make sure you have a couple of hours to spare!
