A new feature at Discovery Cove.

The long anticipated Freshwater Oasis has opened at Discovery Cove. This was promised for spring 2012 and just sneaked into a june opening as it premiered on the last day of that month.
But first, a little about Discovery Cove.
This is an awesome park that is mainly known for it' s dolphin swim. The surroundings are lush and beautiful and there is much more to it than just the dolphin experience.
While you are there you can swim under waterfalls with the rays, snorkel, go and see some colorful birds or just relax on the sandy beach.
And from now on, you can also be one of the first to visit Freshwater Oasis.
So what is this new experience all about? The Oasis has a glorious canopy of rain forest covering and below are crystal clear, sparkling waters. Here you can wade or swim down the trails and all the while encounter some otters that just love to play and marmosets.
All of this is encompassed in a lush, tropical setting. There is no separate charge for this new addition.
First reports coming out of D. C. are all very positive with guests enjoying this extra dimension to their day.

Now a word about Discovery Cove. When you look to buy tickets, you may be a little shocked at the cost, but wait. Each ticket entitles you to a swim with the dolphins and all the other experiences I have described.
Also included are sun screen and a towel and breakfast and lunch. But that is not all; during your day, you can help yourself to unlimited snacks and drinks.
Also included are wetsuits, snorkels, masks, locker hire and a free photo.
They only allow 1000 people in on any one day so you will never feel crowded and your dolphin swim lasts half an hour.
And something money cannot buy, lifetime memories for you and your family.
One of my guests had ' his' dolphin recognise him and swim right up to say hello; imagine that. And they certainly can detect illness. I have also read that they know about a pregnancy before the mother herself is aware.
Discovery Cove is on the opposite side of the road to Seaworld so you can find it easily.
