I have just and i mean just celebrated my 50th birthday, we had already booked flights last year to go to Florida in January, to get some lovely sun as we know that just after xmas its dull gloomy cold and usually raining at home. I had decided to go for a chinese with my family to celebrate my birthday before coming away, my husband declared that he had booked a carribean cruise for a week to celebrate my birthday, well i was shocked and absolutley overjoyed. So i decided to write about our journey, we have been visiting Orlando for about 25 years, we have had many great times and lots of different experiences, the kids absolutley love the place but they are not with us this time as our youngest has a GCSE to take next week and the oldest is looking for a job! !
Well arrived at Orlando Int after a perfect flight with Virgin, we travelled on one of there new airbus 320' s. The inflight entertainment was excellant, lots and lots of movies to choose from not the usual 6 or 8. There was also loads of games and all different music albums to listen to.
We sailed through the usual customs chat picked up our case in 2 minutes as it was waiting then to pick up the car. We booked this through Orlando Villas as usual fantastic service. We chose to use a full size for two of us this was great, lots of room for the golf clubs. We actually used the on line check in at home as Alamo have now installed self check in machines at the airport, so when you check in on line completing all the usual details they do at the airport, you are good to go when you actually do get to the rental check in machine. Then picked up the car from the garage over the Road, it was a breeze. We always use the 417, you need about $3. 00 dollars as you have to go through the tolls, until we get to Oceola parkway then cut accross to get our usual fix of going through Disney to get to our villa. Called in for some supplies at the supemarket down the Road from the villa then we are here. Nice bottle of bud some fried chicken then relax, its about 5. 00 here but 12. 00 at home so we are feeling very tired, will try to stay up as long as we can! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
