Dining at the Mall at Millenia

Florida Guide > Dining

If you spend the day at the Mall at Millenia you will be able to enjoy some wonderful food. On the top floor is the Orangerie. This is a food court with all the cafes and food outlets centred round a seating and table area and a soft floored playing area for small children. Parents can enjoy their lunch whilst keeping an eye on their little ones or just enjoy a rest from walking round all the wonderful stores.

The idea of the food court, is that each member of your party can go and select what ever type of cuisine they desire and then all meet up at the tables to eat together. It saves endless arguments in families as to what every one wants to eat.

Some of the choices are, Chinese at Chinatown, chicken at Chick-fil-A or sandwiches at Firehouse subs. Plus there are Bistro Sensations, Gourmet Grill, Greek Jalapeno, Southwest Grill, Teriyake Experience for Japanese fare and Tony & Brunos Italian cuisine. All of these serve their own specialities. For sweet treats there are Haagen-Dazs for a selection of ice creams, Fruit ‘n Smoothie Sensations for milk shakes and fruit salads and Mrs Fields for cookies.

In the same area, but in their own premises are, Panara bread for great soups, sandwiches and cakes (these can be enjoyed outside under a sun umbrella if you wish), Johnny Rockets, a ‘50s style burger bar, complete with juke box machines on each table and the California Pizza Kitchen.

If you wish for a more substantial lunch or to stop for dinner, there are some superb restaurants. The Cheesecake Factory not only sells the biggest selection of different cheesecakes in the world, but a full and varied dinner menu. When you order your main course at the Cheesecake Factory, do remember to leave room for dessert, as the portion sizes of the cheesecakes are HUGE. The other restaurants are P F Changs China Bistro, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood restaurant and the Brio Tuscan Grille. These restaurants are all located by the main entrance on the lower floor, directly below the Orangerie. There is also a superb cocktail bar called the Blue Martini – a very civilised way to end a days shopping.

If you just want to stop for a rest and a great coffee, there are two Starbucks cafes, one on each floor. One by the Orangerie on the top floor and one by the main entrance and restaurants downstairs.
