Four Parks in One Day?

Florida Guide > Disney Parks

Four parks in one day? Is it possible? Most people would think that it wasn’t but, always up for a challenge, we thought it was worth giving it a go. It wouldn’t be possible to go on every ride, or visit every attraction in each park of course, but we thought it would be possible to be selective and go on the things we liked the best. So, armed with a Hopper Ticket and with comfortable shoes on, we set off.

We started at Animal Kingdom as it was the nearest and arrived there in time for it opening. As soon as we got into the park we headed straight to Africa and the Kilimanjaro Safaris. The queue was minimal and soon we were on our way. After the safari it was off to Everest, where there was a bit of a queue and then on to Dinosaur before heading back to the car and driving to Epcot.

At Epcot it was off to Soarin’ to pick up a fast pass, but no need for that as we walked straight on, and did it twice in a row before heading off to Test Track. We did that twice in a row too and then went to Mission Space. Again the queues were almost non-existent so we got onto it almost straight away, doing the Orange Team – More Intense Training before going off in search of something to eat and drink and then leaving the park to get back into the car.

Our next port of call was Hollywood Studios where we started by going to Tower of Terror, thinking we would need to pick up Fast Passes. There was no need for them as there was no queue at all and so we were able to walk straight on. We went round again for another ride and then headed off to Rock and Roller Coaster. I sat this one out, but didn’t have to wait long for the others to come back as, again, the queue was very short. We stopped and had some lunch at this point and after that it was almost time for the Extreme Stunt Show – Lights, Motors, Action! We arrived just as it was about to begin and managed to get seats right at the very front. It was an action packed half an hour and after it we went to Star Tours where, you’ve guessed it, we walked straight on. We had been planning to go to the Magic Kingdom at that point, but voted instead to return to Epcot to see their firework display rather than the Wishes one at Magic Kingdom.

We arrived back at Epcot with plenty of time before Illuminations to have another couple of rides on Soarin’ and have another drink stop. We headed off towards the lagoon to watch Illuminations shortly before it was due to start, but found an excellent vantage point for the show.

After the show, feeling slightly tired by now, we wended our weary way back towards the car park and home, but it had been great fun. Although we opted to do one of the parks twice in the day, I think we can safely say that it is possible to do four different parks in one day! Of course, we did happen to go in September, which is one of the quietest months of the year, which did help.
