Florida Guide > Universal Parks

The second universal park to open in Orlando and is a real must for the for the daredevils among you, a thrill seekers paradise it has to be said. It is situated next to Universal studios and you can purchase a one day two park pass which is great value and allows you to visit both Universal studios and Islands of Adventure.

Once through the gates grab yourself a park map and sit down in City walk and over a drink peruse the map and decide where to go first.

Islands of Adventure is made up of five sections each section then houses some of the best rides for you to enjoy.

1. Seuss Landings

This is the first area and includes rides more suited to the smaller guests such as the sit on ride through the pages of Dr Seuss ‘The Cat in the Hat’ and meet the worlds most mischievous cat. Caro-Seuss-el merry go round, one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish and if I ran the zoo an interactive play area.

Camp Jurassic a Prehistoric playground.

The Jurassic park Discovery centre a hands on interactive area and last but not least Jurassic park River Adventure a thrilling river raft ride BUT beware there might just be T-REX on the loose.

4. Toon Lagoon

This is where you will most certainly get a little wet ha ha ha

Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw falls will make sure of that being one of the steepest water drops ever created. Popeye & Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges is another one to get you just a little soaked (not to worry you soon dry outJ
