This is a real treat for fans of the Marvel comics and in my view the best part of Islands of Adventure and without doubt the best attraction is “ The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman'
The Amazing adventures of Spiderman
This is a 3D show with a difference filmed with live special effects including flames and water, when it was built it was the first ever combination of moving, motion-based ride vehicles
Unlike many other rides rather than just sitting in a theatre seat and watch the show you enter a roving vehicle to drive on the city streets to get to the news story as the latest reporter for the tribune news paper to totally immerse you in the story and make you feel like you’re right in the middle of the action
The vehicle twist and turns as it manoeuvres round the streets and it not long before you run into trouble as the villains of the Sinister Syndicate have stolen the Statue of Liberty and it' s up to Spiderman to catch them
You tour the dark streets and all at first seems well until you run into the villains up to their dastardly deed, then they chase begins, you twist and turn through the tight city streets and soon Spidey turns up to help you out of any tight spots
The ride itself is a highly acclaimed ride and rightly so the action has you on the edge of the seat all the way through and it has to be one of the best ever rides that I have ever been on
The Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster
Although I am not a fan of Roller Coasters mainly because I am a coward as my kids would say you simply have to be amazed at this awesome roller coaster
You accelerate from Zero to 40 miles per hour in just 2 seconds and the world turns upside down as you experience a weightless ' zero g' roll, it reaches heights of 150 feet and a top speed of 67 miles per hour and you go upside down seven times
Just watching and listening to this ride is enough for me but I have to say it' s very impressive and if you a roller coaster person then it' s a must visit
Doctor Doom Fear Fall
This is a simple ride where you are strapped into a seat and shot up into the air to 150 feet and then fall back down to the ground at a frightening speed this is so Doctor Doom can collect all your fear as you fall
The initial launch at the beginning of the ride uses more thrust than a 747 jet engine and accelerates faster than the space shuttle, well worth a visit for the brave
